Cozy room with a window, with white blind, tufted armchair, and folded towels on a bed, with greenery outside.

There’s something about the first cooler evenings that makes us notice our homes again. Rooms that felt perfectly fine during summer can suddenly seem a little bare, cold or unfinished.

Autumn doesn’t have to mean completely redecorating. Changing the lighting, introducing warmer colours and texture, rearranging furniture or finally dealing with that awkward room can make an enormous difference.

This is also the ideal time to start planning any rooms you’d love completed before Christmas. Tradespeople, bespoke furniture and fabrics all take time, so starting now makes the whole process far more enjoyable.

If there’s a room in your home that doesn’t quite work - or you know what you dislike but can’t see how to fix it, I can help you work out what it needs, whether that’s a focused design consultation or support with a complete room redesign.

Do get in touch with a photograph of the room you’re struggling with, and I’ll tell you which of my services would be the best fit.
