I have been established as an Interior Designer in Harpenden for over 20 years. I initially studied textile design, then worked for Laura Ashley and finally studied for a degree in Interior Design before starting my own business in 1990. The majority of my work has been in private homes however I have also undertaken the refurbishment of commercial properties. My projects range from single rooms to entire houses.

Whilst I am passionate about my work, I do not impose my ideas upon my clients. I take on board the clients requirements and preferences and interpret these, working their ideas into practical and beautiful interiors.

WHY USE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER?

Would you do your own dentistry? Underpin your own foundations? Make your own cosmetics? Of course not! Then why not employ a professional to help create the home that you really want?

Far from indicating a lack of taste or initiative, using an interior designer can help you to realise your own ideas far more effectively and quickly than doing it alone. The hard work will be eliminated, thus making the redesign of your home an enjoyable experience. I can also provide fixtures, fittings and fabrics (often unavailable through retail outlets), and a team of professional and reliable workmen (from plumbers and electricians through builders and decorators to plasterers and cabinet makers) as well as a fresh and objective eye.
